For many, the idea of getting a massage sparks more nerves than relaxation. The awkwardness of lying still, the uncertainty of touch, the vulnerability of simply letting go. But that’s where Yusell Garcia steps in. With a calm confidence and a gift for connection, Garcia has built his own business around easing not just knots in the muscles, but tension in the mind. His approach blends professionalism with warmth, turning what could feel intimidating into an experience of trust and comfort. By creating a space that feels inviting and personal, Garcia transforms the massage table from a place of discomfort into one of renewal, leaving clients not just at ease but eager to return.

“I also offer enhancements like CBD, hot stones, and most don’t offer that for when you’re in your home,” said Garcia. “I provide a five-star experience at the person’s home, and wherever they are, I bring luxury to them.”

In the early 2000s, Yusell Garcxia’s life was a patchwork of hard labor and restless searching. After dropping out of high school, he bounced between carpentry jobs, long warehouse shifts, and the grind of hauling heavy luggage through crowded airports. But one night, as the glow of the television flickered across his living room, a commercial for massage therapy caught his eye. Something about it felt different.

“I instantly saw something I loved,” said Garcia. “I also loved the health benefits they were explaining at this school for massage therapy, and that day, my life changed moving forward.”

The very next day, Garcia walked through the doors of that massage school, signed his name on the dotted line, and never looked back. By 2004, he had traded steel-toed boots and conveyor belts for healing hands and a diploma, marking the start of a career built on touch, purpose, and transformation.

“Every two years, I have to renew my license,” he said. “So, it’s a continuing education, and I have many certifications in different things like cupping, stretching, sports massage, and hot stones.”

For two years, Yusell Garcia could be found in the bustling hum of a shopping mall, offering chair massages to hurried shoppers seeking a quick escape from the chaos of retail. He worked with speed, skill, and a growing confidence, each knead and press sharpening his craft.

Then, in 2007, his path took a luxurious turn when he landed his first job at an upscale spa and a place of soft robes, dim lighting, and ocean-scented oils. There, Garcia’s world expanded from chair massages to full-body scrubs and treatments that blended relaxation with ritual.

Over the years, his hands became fluent in the language of healing, his reputation growing with every grateful client. But in January 2025, after nearly two decades of working within other people’s sanctuaries, Garcia finally took the leap to create his own and stepped into independence with the same boldness that once carried him through the doors of massage school.

“I started doing the chair massages for private events,” said Garcia. “Also, like artisan markets, weddings, parties, employee appreciation, and at-home massages.

Garcia’s YuSpa is a mobile and on-site wellness brand. His vision: bring wellness to people where they are. Now, whether clients prefer relaxing in their own homes or enjoying a chair massage at a corporate event, YuSpa shows up.

“YuSpa recently had his first market with us,” said Nicole White, owner of Sunny Side Up Market. “His licensed chair massage services brought a calm, relaxing vibe that our visitors truly enjoyed.”

Under his brand, Yusell offers tailored in-home massage sessions, regular monthly packages for committed clients, and on-site chair massage services for community fairs and corporate functions. It’s a shift from being tethered to a spa table—now, his healing hands go to the people.

“There’s less stress,” said Garcia. “They don’t have to drive through traffic, look for parking, or pay for any extra enhancements. I come to you when it’s convenient, with all my materials, and those enhancements are already included in the pricing.”

When Yusell Garcia created YuSpa, he didn’t just build another massage service; he designed a traveling sanctuary. One that carries the aromas of essential oils, the soothing heat of stones, and the quiet promise of renewal straight into people’s homes and workplaces.

“Yusell from YuSpa delivers every time,” said Shana Chin. “Whether I needed deep stretches, stress relief, or pure relaxation, he’s always adapted to my needs.”

His signature touch goes beyond traditional massage, weaving in the grounding warmth of hot stones that melt muscle tension like wax under a flame, the restorative power of CBD oils that calm inflammation and quiet anxious minds, and the ancient practice of cupping, drawing out stress and promoting blood flow like a reset button for the body.

“Hot stones help relax the muscles and expand the veins to increase blood circulation,” said Garcia. “Cupping detoxifies impurities from the blood, and more that are good for athletes, pregnant women, and more.”

Each element isn’t just a technique—it’s therapy. Clients leave with loosened joints, improved circulation, reduced pain, and a clarity that lingers long after the session ends. With YuSpa, wellness feels less like an appointment and more like an experience. Where modern science and timeless healing traditions meet to restore balance, energy, and vitality.

“Most people don’t offer this for in-home,” said Garcia. “I also offer CBD enhancements because in 2018, I had my own CBD company, and that’s why I incorporate it into my practice.”

For those weighed down by chronic pain, his sessions act like a release valve. Muscles knotted from years of tension begin to soften, circulation flows like a reopened river, and clients walk away lighter, freer, no longer chained to discomfort.

Or those haunted by restless nights, his therapy has been a turning point. The combination of steady hands, soothing oils, and rhythmic pressure coaxes the body into stillness. People who once lay awake staring at the ceiling now melt into deep, restorative sleep. Waking with energy they haven’t felt in years.

“I’ve had people who suffer from chronic pain for many years, and I’ve been able to help,” said Garcia. “I’ve even helped people who couldn’t sleep before, and now they can, and I help people doing what I love. I love what I do, and being able to heal people with my own hands without medications and to guide them in a positive way, both mentally and physically, has been the real award.”
